This issue includes one of the speeches from the 6th Annual Speaking Contest, held in May, 2006. There will be more to come in the next issue, along with many pictures taken at the event. Nada's speech about mind-altering substances and events contains a lot of good advice, and will definitely strike a chord with AGU students living away from home for the first time. Abdul Qader's mouth-watering and foolproof recipe is also essential to the well being of those far away from the comforts of Mom's cooking. Good advice on improving your reading comes from Nasir, and a very thoughtful perspective on that over-used word "love" from Wala round out the issue. Thanks to all for your interesting contributions.
