The Fields of Student Activities
The student committees organize various activities throughout the academic year:
Social activities
- Orientation week
- Art exhibitions and charity functions
- Parties which includes celebration of the national day of all G.C.C States
- Contests and competitions
- Trips and excursions in Bahrain and abroad
- Sightseeing trips in Bahrain
- Organizing visits to events held outside the University premises
- Participating in social visits to regional universities organized by GCC
- and by AGU, and the educational and sport contests also organized by the GCC council
Cultural activities
- A variety of cultural contests
- An orientation talk about the system of medical education
- Organizing workshops and scientific lectures
Sport activities
At the University campus in Sakkhir there is a staff and students club which has the following facilities:
- A Gym
- Two squash courts
- Two tennis courts
- The university organizes regular competitions and sport activities, which include; football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and swimming. Sport contests are held where members of faculty staff, employees and students take part. Furthermore, the university participates in all GCC sports leagues.
