• The 7th medical book fair will be held at the Arabian Gulf University premises form Sept 25, 2004 to Oct 6, 2004.

• In cooperation with Arabian Gulf University and Bahrain Library Association are conducted a workshop on “ Internet … Services & Information” from April 24-26, 2004 at the university’s premises.

• Suad Al-khalifa , The library director attended the Special Library Association - Arabian Gulf Chapter annual conference which was held in Kuwait form March 27-29, 2004.

• Mr. Abbas Al-Jamri, the cataloger attended the workshop on “The Classification of the Electronic Information Resources on the Internet” and the Special Library Association - Arabian Gulf Chapter annual conference that was held in Kuwait form March 27-29, 2004.

• The Arabian Gulf University Library recently organized on sale used book fair from 8-11,March 2004 at the university’s premises.

• Mr.Ahmed Rabeah, Head of technical unit attended a workshop on “ System Administration in Horizon “ in Dubai from Oct 4-8 , 2003 .

• Mr. Mohammed Ghali, Reference & serials librarian attended a workshop on “ Serial & Acquisition in Horizon “ in Abu Dhabi from Dec 26-30, 2004.
