Program Overview

The Master of Science in Digital Education is a comprehensive graduate program designed to empower teachers, curriculum developers, and digital learning specialists with the competencies needed to lead advanced digital education initiatives. The program combines theoretical foundations with practical application, focusing on leveraging emerging digital technologies, effective instructional design, and data-driven strategies to enhance education quality across various contexts.

The Department of Education and Curriculum hosts the His Majesty King Hamad Chair in Digital Learning, which provides scholarships for the Master’s Program in Digital Education in partnership with the Ministry of Education in Bahrain. The scholarship covers tuition fees for four semesters of the program.

• Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines with a minimum GPA of “Very Good” from an accredited university that is recognized by the Arabian Gulf University.
• Applicants must successfully pass the personal interview with the Department’s faculty members.

Gifted education Programs (Master’s and PhD.) contribute to scientific development and the improvement of gifted and creative education services and research. These programs aim to prepare teachers who wish to be researchers and responsible for educating the gifted and talented at various educational levels, thus providing qualified competencies to care for this group and meet their needs in line with the objectives of the Arab Strategy for Giftedness and Creativity. Gifted education programs align with their role in serving the GCC community by raising the scientific research level and serving the GCC community. It constantly works to provide distinguished academic and research competencies from the Gulf countries and the Arab world.

Admission Requirements

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of Very Good (3 out of 4.00 scale).
• The applicant must pass a satisfactory personal interview and entrance exams held by the Program.
• The applicant must provide a detailed transcript for the bachelor’s degree.

Admission Requirements

• The applicant must hold a Master of Science degree from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of Very Good (3 out of 4.00 scale).
• English Language Competency in IELTS (5.5) or TOEFL IBT (46-59).
• Pass a satisfactory personal interview and entrance exams held by the program.
• The applicant must hold a master’s degree completed under the thesis option.
• The applicant must provide transcripts for both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
• The applicant must submit an initial research proposal.

In addition, it provides opportunities for active participation in serving the community through academic research and field projects, opening wide horizons for graduates to excel academically and professionally, both locally and regionally.

• The applicant must hold a master’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of (very good).
• The applicant must have proficiency in English, evidenced by IETLS (5.5), or TOFEL iBt (46-59).
• The applicant must successfully pass the interview and the entrance examinations administrated by the program.

The Center of Environmental and Biological Studies envisions excellence in education, research and community services focusing on the sciences and the management of natural resources at the local, regional, and international levels.

The center’s research focuses on several key areas: water management, agriculture, climate change, waste management, and environmental biotechnology. It also includes multidisciplinary studies such as water-energy-climate change-food-waste nexus and nature-based solutions. These research activities are carried out under the three scientific chairs hosted at the center: His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Chair in Environmental Sciences, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Chair in Geographic Information Systems, and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Chair in Desert Farming.

The MSc Program aims to provide the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) countries with qualified human capital in Technology Management to meet the priorities and national needs for the GCC region. The MSc program in Technology Management aspires to enable managers and leaders to acquire key competencies in technology management and developing entrepreneurial mindset to transform GCC region. The program focuses on developing innovation and technology strategies, building sustainable business models, enabling technology management processes, and enhancing the capacity to apply data analytics and AI in GCC.

• Grade: At least “Very Good” in the bachelor’s degree.
• English language certificate: IELTS score of at least 5 or equivalent TOEFL IBT score.

Program Overview

This PhD program is designed to build a capacity in innovation management across all sectors of socioeconomic activities in both the public and private sectors in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The program consists of a number of courses including foundation, core and elective courses, which are offered to provide the students with in-depth knowledge in all subject mailers related to innovation.

The wide-ranging multi-disciplinary curriculum has been designed to meet rigorous international research standards as well as the academic requirements of GCC higher education, and public and private sector's specific needs. The program integrates multiple academic specialties that represent all the components of the value chain in innovation, ranging from creativity and the harnessing of collective intelligence, to the added value creation in business. The program also encompasses knowledge management, leadership, innovation policy and the mastery of the hard and soft tools, such as management information systems, statistical analysis and intellectual property issues.

Graduates of the program will acquire the capabilities to develop and lead innovative management projects across technological and managerial fields in the GCC countries in both the academic and corporate spheres.

Program Overview

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was established in 2007 by an agreement between the Arabian Gulf University and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The program was established to “promote human resource skills and develop education, research and expertise in the various areas of management, business administration and finance which are of particular relevance to the Gulf region”, as stated in the establishment agreement.

The link with distinguished French business schools and universities enables the school to draw on the experience and reputation of these institutions in developing solid, relevant and unique programs to serve the needs of the GCC states best. The MBA program is now cooperating with the ESSEC Business School, one of Europe’s leading business schools, to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a regional flavor, following an extensive marketing study in the Middle East, which included Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.

Admission Requirements

• Academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution, with a minimum grade of “Very Good”. Relevant professional experience in a managerial position, leadership skills, and decision-making abilities are preferred.
• English proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate written and spoken English proficiency through recognized tests or previous study in English-speaking academic environments. Minimum requirements: TOEFL 450 or IELTS 5.0.
