AGU President Commends Saudi Achievements on Anniversary of the Pledge of Allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of Arabian Gulf University (AGU), extended his warmest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the eleventh anniversary of his pledge of allegiance and ascension to the throne of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This cherished national occasion reflects deep loyalty and devotion to a leader under whose wise guidance Saudi Arabia has strengthened its regional and global presence, laying solid foundations for comprehensive development across all sectors.
His Excellency highlighted the significant transformations the Kingdom has experienced in recent years, driven by an ambitious vision under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. These efforts aim to chart a future rooted in modernisation, economic diversification, improved service quality, empowerment of Saudi citizens, and the enhancement of the Kingdom’s standing on the international stage.
Dr Al Fuhaid also praised the Kingdom’s wise political approach, which has bolstered its international relations, reinforced its role in promoting global peace and security, and demonstrated support for just Arab and Islamic causes. He commended the Kingdom’s leadership in international efforts to combat terrorism and extremism, guided by its core principles and values.
He noted the particular attention given to education through ongoing support for academic and research programmes, development of institutional infrastructure, and empowerment of universities to fulfil their mission of nurturing talented nationals. He expressed appreciation for the continuous support provided to AGU as a leading Gulf academic institution committed to preparing scientific, medical, and research leaders and strengthening Gulf cooperation in higher education and scientific research.
The University President concluded by stating, “We are proud of the significant achievements and comprehensive national development realised during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. We pray for the continued security, prosperity, and well-being of the Kingdom, for the protection of its wise leadership, and for guidance towards what is best for the nation and its citizens.”
