Prof. Bander Nasser Alotaibi is a Professor of Special Education at the Arabian Gulf University, where he serves in the Department of Special Education. His academic and professional career focused on the advancement of the field of behavioral studies, with a particular focus on behavior modification, applied behavior analysis, and interventions for individuals with disabilities. Prof. Alotaibi earned his Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Maryland, following a master’s degree from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, a higher diploma in education from the University of the Arab Gulf, and a bachelor’s degree in social services from King Saud University. He has authored and translated several key publications, including Systematic Teaching for Students with Multiple and Severe Disabilities and The Story of Intellectual Disabilities. His recent research includes topics such as adaptive behavior scales, and cross-generational transmission of behavior.
