Dr. Bello was born in late 1970s in Sokoto Nigeria. He had his early Islamic and western education in Sokoto, before he proceeded to Usmanu Danfodiyo University where he graduated with his MBBS in 2006. He obtained an MSc Anatomy in 2014 from same University before proceeding to University Putra, where he obtained a PhD Anatomy in 2017. His PhD research work was on the preventive effect of Nigella sativa oil extract on Valproic acid (VPA) induced Neural tube defects (NTDs) in mouse model. Dr. Bello has received several grants and awards, including the Tetfund Institutional based research grant, for “Preventive effect of Nigella sativa oil extract on VPA induced Craniosynostosis in mouse model” January 2020, the Malaysian International Scholarship August 2016 to December 2017, and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences research grant at University Putra Malaysia, in May 2015. Dr. Bello has been teaching Anatomy to both undergraduate and postgraduate student for 13 years.
