Bio▼

   Dr. Kumar, Associate Professor at Arabian Gulf University, has been teaching anatomical sciences to medical students from the year 2004 through various curricula ranging from the traditional, USMLE integrated to PBL (problem-based learning) using various modalities of teaching such as didactic lectures, anatomical dissections and virtual anatomy tools. Before joining AGU in the year 2013, Dr. Kumar was working at Manipal, St Lucia and Malaysia in the capacity of Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. His research work has been published and cited in various reputed journals with an H-index of 27. Currently, he serves in the editorial boards, scientific committees and review panels of many journals including “Journal of Medical Education and Curricular Development” and  “International Journal of Morphology”. Dr. Kumar was the recepient of “Best Teacher Award-2009” from the prestigious Manipal University and the “GCC-Africa Leadership Excellence Award” in the year 2016.
