Bio

Dr. Kumar is teaching anatomical sciences to medical students from the year 2004 through various curricula ranging from the traditional, integrated to PBL (problem-based learning) using various modalities of teaching such as dissections and virtual anatomy tools. Before joining AGU in the year 2013, he was working at Manipal, St Lucia and Malaysia in the capacity of Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. His research work has been published and cited in various reputed journals with an H-index of 26. His projects and his research students have received accolades for the presentations at national level research competitions and scientific conferences. Currently, he serves in the scientific committees of many journals including International Journal of Morphology. He was the recepient of “Best Teacher Award-2009” from the prestigious Manipal University and the “GCC-Africa Leadership Excellence Award” in the year 2016.
