The event also highlighted distinguished figures in nursing who have made significant contributions to the field of health at the global, Gulf, and Bahraini levels. In addition, the exhibition provided an overview of the various nursing specialties and their impact on elevating the healthcare system.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" data-entity-uuid=\"2529d7ea-aaff-44a9-a49c-71953da62683\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.agu.edu.bh\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/F34A9756-scaled.jpg\" width=\"6720\" height=\"2913\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 6720px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 6720\/2913;\"><p>In this context, Dr Hawazen Rawas, Head of the BSN Department at AGU, commended the considerable efforts exerted by nursing professionals across hospitals and health centres in the GCC countries. \u201cNurses form the cornerstone of the healthcare system, playing a pivotal role in enhancing community health and delivering compassionate and professional care to patients under all circumstances,\u201d she commented.<\/p><p>Dr Rawas further said: \u201cThe theme of this year\u2019s International Nurses Day, \u2018Our Nurses, Our Future \u2013 Caring Nurses Strengthens the Economy\u2019, reflects the importance of supporting this vital group and highlights their exceptional contributions, particularly in light of the ongoing challenges faced by the healthcare sector, both locally and globally.\u201d<\/p><p>She affirmed that \u201cthe nursing profession represents the backbone of any successful health system, and those working in this field are the beating heart of healthcare systems.
