Dr. Fajer graduated from medical school in 2019, entering the field during a pivotal time. Being on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic and witnessing the challenges faced by healthcare systems gave her a unique perspective on the vital connection between clinical practice and public health as she navigated the complexities of patient care. The reality of the strong social and economic connection to disease management ignited her interest in public health. Driven to make a broader impact, Dr. Fajer plans to pursue higher education in this field to equip herself with the tools necessary for addressing systemic health challenges.
