Bio

Dr. Mohamed Almedfa is a passionate educator and healthcare professional, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Internal Medicine Department at the Arabian Gulf University. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Technology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Almedfa’s journey in medicine began at the Arabian Gulf University, where he earned his M.D. and went on to work as a radiology resident at Bahrain Defence Force Hospital. His interest in AI and healthcare innovation has driven much of his recent work, including research on the role of artificial intelligence in medicine, which has been published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr.Almedfa is also involved in community health initiatives, such as a national survey on ADHD in children. Known for his dedication to his students and his forward-thinking approach to medicine, he continually seeks ways to merge technology and healthcare to improve patient outcomes.
