Applying for “Ethical Approval of Research" is an important step to be considered in your future research projects and publication, in this regard, The Research and Ethics Committee (REC) of the College of Graduate Studies (CGS) is currently validating a “Guidelines for Ethical Approval of Research", which can be provided as indicative guidelines upon request sent by email to cgs_research@agu.edu.bh. Research Involving Human Participants

If your Research involves Human Subjects, kindly fill out an Application for Research and Ethics Committee Review of Research Involving Human Subjects. The application will be reviewed by the Research and Ethics Committee (REC) of the College of Graduate Studies. The approval of the application does not grant permission or approval to undertake the research. Management permission or approval must be obtained from any host organization, including the Arabian Gulf University prior to the start of the study. CGS Research Grants

Call for Proposals

The Research and Ethics Committee (REC) of the College of Graduate Studies (CGS) announces regular “Call for Proposals" (CFPs) for 'CGS Research Grants, an​intramural Grant for conducting Research projects at the College of Graduate Studies.
 

We aim at the College of Graduate Studies to empower multidisciplinary projects adhering to Arabian Gulf University's Strategic objectives. Projects including Faculties from two or more departments will be given priority during the review phase. In addition, projects leading to potential high-rank publications (SJR Q1 rank) will be considered priority projects as well. 
 

  ​Eligibility and Process

Academic Faculty from all CGS departments are invited to submit their application within the deadline mentioned in the CFP, using “Form A-1", in a hard copy to their respective departments to be processed, in addition to a copy in PDF format to be sent by email to cgs_research@agu.edu.bh. We advise applicants to ensure all requested information is introduced in the application Form in word format prior to applying. A detailed Grant Application Workflow can be found Here.
