A workshop examining options and projects for water interconnection among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states has begun at Arabian Gulf University, as part of the implementation of the directives issued by the GCC leaders at the 19th Consultative Meeting of the Supreme Council, held in Jeddah last April, which aim to strengthen water security in the Gulf region and establish an integrated and sustainable system for water resource management.

The Medical Skills and Simulation Center at Arabian Gulf University concluded a specialized training workshop aimed at first-year residents in the Bahraini Board of Family Medicine program. This initiative is part of the university’s commitment to supporting medical education and continuing professional development, as well as strengthening its strategic partnership with the Ministry of Health, thereby contributing to sustained cooperation between the two parties and the development of national healthcare competencies.
