Partnering for Success
At the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), the Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) is deeply committed to engaging with external stakeholders to ensure the continuous development and sustainability of its educational programs. AGU maintains strong partnerships with the Ministry of Education, employers, and other key stakeholders to align its curriculum, policies, and program design with national and regional priorities.
As part of its quality assurance practices, AGU conducts annual employer satisfaction surveys to evaluate the preparedness and effectiveness of its program completers. These surveys consistently show high levels of employer satisfaction, especially in areas such as content knowledge, instructional planning, classroom management, and professional disposition. Employers also highlight graduates' adaptability and readiness to work in diverse educational environments.
In addition, AGU uses the University Exit Survey, administered 3 to 9 months after graduation, and End of Programme Report to assess candidate satisfaction and gather meaningful feedback that supports program improvement.
To ensure candidate competency at completion, AGU applies multiple performance-based assessments, including capstone projects, practicum evaluations, and exit portfolios. Graduation requirements also include maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, completing all internship or practicum requirements, and successfully passing the oral thesis or dissertation defense. These measures reflect AGU’s commitment to academic excellence and professional preparedness.
Most AGU completers are recipients of government scholarships and are already employed in educational institutions upon graduation—underscoring the relevance and impact of AGU’s educator preparation programs in meeting workforce needs.
