Fadhel Ebrahim, Kingdom of Bahrain (8th batch)
"Respect and understanding of student’s needs. The course leader commitment for the program successes. The course presentations were recorded for students who couldn’t attend on time and for future reference. Different skills were taught along with the course materials (i.e. presentation skills, scientific report writing, critical thinking and mapping, research methodologies).”
Ali Al-Shaikh, Kingdom of Bahrain (8th batch)
“Getting to know students from different backgrounds, countries, and fields which allowed for knowledge exchange and expertise transfer. Being educated under specialized and experienced teaching faculty.”
Osama Tabash, Palestine (9th batch)
"The Arabian Gulf University is well-regarded institution that prioritizes health, human development, science and technology. As such the IWRM program is designed as an innovative teaching way in the Arab Region, bridging research and practice through interactive and advanced materials in the water sector with partnership with UNU-INWEH. What distinguishes this program is: Academic Professionality of AGU staff, available electronic resources (as library) and public events (as science days, national days, sporting events, conferences), cooperation with students, especially Prof. Waleed, Ms. Fadia, and all academic staff. In addition, collaborating with my colleagues is also a fulfilling experience. Their diverse perspectives and expertise had challenged my own thinking and helped me to see problems in new ways. We have been able to leverage each other's experience strengths, leading to more comprehensive understanding of the topics and working better on the water sector. Moreover, the use of technological tools in teaching and the ability to access to recorded materials at any time improved our interaction with academic staff."
Rabeea Badaam, Yemen (9th batch)
“Honestly, the most thing I liked is the Kindness of the Academic staff (Doctors/Professors), general staff and hostel staff. All of them were dealing with us as brothers and tried to help all of us during the period of the program. Also, all the services inside the university are of high quality, starting from the university hostel, the transportation, classrooms, and the library. I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to all who made this program very successful, especially Dr. Waleed Zubari."
