Admission Timeline

There are several stages to our admissions process for the undergraduate programs at AGU It is important you understand your role i​n each of these stages and be aware of the deadlines.

Application Start

AGU online Application open in June for applicants from citizens of GCC countries and Arab nationals residing in the GCC.

Admissions English Exam

Admissions English Exam will be held in the last week of August for "MD" applicants who didn't have a minimum of 5.5 score in ILETS or 500 score in the TOFEL exam.

Interviews

Applicants who meet all the requirements will be interviewed in AGU. Dates will be announced later.

Decisions

Interviewed candidates will hear whether they have been offered a place before classes begin.

Orientation Day

Orientation Day held in the week of beginning of classes as mentioned in the academic calendar.

Registration & Classes

Accepted students need to complete registration, pay tuition fees and receive their student ID class schedule and books.

General Requirements

  • The applicant must be a citizen of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries and nominated by the relevant Ministry of Education or Ministry of Higher Education in their respective countries.
  • An Arab national residing in the GCC countries may apply directly.
  • The applicant must submit a completed application form and all supporting documents.​ 
  • The applicant must pass the personal interview​.​
  • The applicant must pass the Admission Exam and a personal interview.
  • The applicant must pay all tuition fees if admitted on self-pay seat prior of commencing study.
    The applicant must be fit​​.
 

Specific Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD)
  • ​​The applicant must hold a High School Certificate in Science major with overall average not less than 95% or 3.75 GPA out of 4 scale.
  • The applicant must obtain not less than 90% in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Math).
  • The applicant must pay a non-refundable application fee of BD 100.​
  • The applicant must obtain a minimum score of (5.5) in IELTS exam or (475) in the TOEFL exam or an equivalent​ score in other recognized​​ exams or pass the University English Exam.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BSN)
  • ​​The applicant must hold a High School Certificate in Science major with overall average not less than 85%.
  • The applicant must obtain not less than 80% in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Math).

Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees for The Current Academic Year 2025/2026 . ​

  • Original copy of the Official Transcript.
  • Original copy of graduation certificate.       
  •  Both copies certified by the Ministry of Education in their country
  • Valid Passport copy​
  • National ID copy
  • 4 Recent Photos passport size.​
  • Medical Examination Certificate.
  • A certificate of good conduct from previous School.​​
