His Excellency Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, President of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), extended his sincere congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s global achievement, with the Ministry of Education ranking first worldwide in the Microsoft Showcase Schools Global Ranking 2025.

His Excellency expressed his great pride in this international distinction, which reflects the wise vision of the Kingdom’s leadership in advancing education and demonstrates Bahrain’s strong commitment to harnessing modern technology to develop the educational system. This achievement, he added, enhances the quality of educational outcomes and reinforces Bahrain’s leading position in the field of digital education globally.

Dr Al Fuhaid also praised the continuous efforts exerted by the Ministry of Education, under the leadership of His Excellency Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council’s Board of Trustees, in implementing pioneering programmes focused on integrating digital solutions into curricula, developing the capacities of teachers and students, and providing an educational environment that fosters innovation and creativity.

He affirmed that this accomplishment is the result of a comprehensive strategic vision, a national investment in human development, and effective institutional integration among all stakeholders in the education sector. He further noted that the Arabian Gulf University, through its academic and developmental mission, values this progress and supports all initiatives that contribute to strengthening Bahrain’s educational standing both regionally and internationally.
