The Salmaniya Campus serves as the main campus of Arabian Gulf University and represents a vibrant hub for education, healthcare, research, and innovation. Strategically located in the heart of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the campus provides an integrated environment that supports academic excellence, scientific advancement, and community engagement. The campus is designed to bring together teaching, research, clinical practice, and administrative services within a unified setting that promotes collaboration and interdisciplinary learning.

The campus consists of four major facilities that collectively support the University’s mission and strategic objectives. The Main Building serves as the academic and administrative center of the University, housing academic departments, classrooms, lecture halls, student services, and administrative offices. It provides a dynamic learning environment that supports undergraduate and postgraduate education while fostering academic achievement and student success.

Medical City

King Abdullah Medical City is a landmark strategic development project of Arabian Gulf University and one of the most ambitious academic healthcare initiatives in the region. Located in Durrat Al Bahrain, the Medical City is envisioned as a fully integrated ecosystem that brings together medical education, advanced healthcare services, scientific research, innovation, and community engagement within a single world-class destination. The project reflects the University’s commitment to supporting the healthcare priorities of the Gulf region while contributing to sustainable development and knowledge-based economies.

As a flagship project of Arabian Gulf University, King Abdullah Medical City will strengthen the University’s role as a leading institution in medical education and research while supporting Bahrain’s vision for healthcare advancement. AGU Housing is located in Zallaq, approximately 30 kilometers from the University’s main campus in Salmaniya, providing students with a safe, comfortable, and supportive residential environment. Designed to enhance the student experience beyond the classroom, the housing buildings offers modern accommodation facilities that foster academic success, personal growth, and cultural exchange among students from across the Gulf region and beyond.

The housing facilities include dedicated residences for male and female students, residential villas for faculty and staff members, and apartments for married students. The female housing accommodates 384 students across two residential buildings, while the male housing accommodates up to 248 students. The residential community is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere that promotes well-being, security, and a sense of belonging.

Through its modern facilities and student-centered environment, AGU Housing plays a vital role in creating an outstanding educational experience for students from all Gulf Cooperation Council countries and beyond.
