Tailored Curriculum with State-of-the-Art Tools and Emerging Technologies: The program goes beyond theory by offering comprehensive training in water management tools, including WEAP, Water-Energy-Food Nexus (Q-Nexus), Groundwater Modeling (MODFLOW), alongside advanced emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Geo-AI, Blockchain, and IoT for modern water resource management.

Flexible and Professional Learning Model

Designed specifically for working water professionals whose schedules do not allow full-time study, the program combines self-paced distance learning with brief, intensive in-person sessions, and supported by competitive fellowship opportunities.

Outcomes

Understand the core principles of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and application in addressing water challenges in the Arab region.

Develop a working knowledge of modern digital tools and state-of-the-art technologies used in water management, such as hydrologic modeling (WEAP, MODFLOW), GIS, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, and IoT.

Exchange experience and expertise among participants from various water-related fields and sectors in the Arab countries.

Identify water management best practices and the use of tools and technologies in the management of conventional and non-conventional water resources.

Recognize the role and importance of strategies, policies, and regulations, alongside community participation, gender considerations, and institutional structures in water governance.

Conduct a comprehensive scientific research project that diagnoses a real-world water problem in participant’s country, and proposes actionable and suitable solutions, and be able to present and defend it.
