The program included a number of introductory sessions covering key aspects of academic and research work and professional development, as well as an overview of the policies and support services the university provides to faculty members, helping them make the most of available resources and opportunities and enhance their participation in various academic and research activities.

The program began with a session to introduce the new faculty members, followed by a session on the history of the Arabian Gulf University, its mission, and its vision, presented by Dr. Ghazi bin Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research.
