This program is an advanced research-based doctoral program combining coursework and thesis.

It prepares candidates to investigate molecular, genetic, biochemical, immunological, and cellular mechanisms of disease, apply modern omics and laboratory technologies, and produce high-quality research contributing to diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and health innovation.

The Master of Science in Digital Education is a comprehensive graduate program designed to empower teachers, curriculum developers, and digital learning specialists with the competencies needed to lead advanced digital education initiatives. The program combines theoretical foundations with practical application, focusing on leveraging emerging digital technologies, effective instructional design, and data-driven strategies to enhance education quality across various contexts.

The Department of Education and Curriculum hosts the His Majesty King Hamad Chair in Digital Learning, which provides scholarships for the Master’s Program in Digital Education in partnership with the Ministry of Education in Bahrain. The scholarship covers tuition fees for four semesters of the program.

This program contribute to scientific development and the improvement of gifted and creative education services and research. These programs aim to prepare teachers who wish to be researchers and responsible for educating the gifted and talented at various educational levels, thus providing qualified competencies to care for this group and meet their needs in line with the objectives of the Arab Strategy for Giftedness and Creativity. Gifted education programs align with their role in serving the GCC community by raising the scientific research level and serving the GCC community. It constantly works to provide distinguished academic and research competencies from the Gulf countries and the Arab world.

The Learning and Developmental Disabilities Program at the Arabian Gulf University aims to prepare and empower professionals capable of diagnosing, designing, and implementing educational and therapeutic program according to the latest strategies for individuals with learning disabilities, intellectual disability, and autism. In addition, it provides opportunities for active participation in serving the community through academic research and field projects, opening wide horizons for graduates to excel academically and professionally, both locally and regionally.

The Center of Environmental and Biological Studies envisions excellence in education, research and community services focusing on the sciences and the management of natural resources at the local, regional, and international levels.

The center’s research focuses on several key areas: water management, agriculture, climate change, waste management, and environmental biotechnology. It also includes multidisciplinary studies such as water-energy-climate change-food-waste nexus and nature-based solutions. These research activities are carried out under the three scientific chairs hosted at the center: His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Chair in Environmental Sciences, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Chair in Geographic Information Systems, and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Chair in Desert Farming.

This Program aims to provide the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) countries with qualified human capital in Technology Management to meet the priorities and national needs for the GCC region. The MSc program in Technology Management aspires to enable managers and leaders to acquire key competencies in technology management and developing entrepreneurial mindset to transform GCC region.

The program focuses on developing innovation and technology strategies, building sustainable business models, enabling technology management processes, and enhancing the capacity to apply data analytics and AI in GCC.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was established in 2007 by an agreement between the Arabian Gulf University and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The program was established to “promote human resource skills and develop education, research and expertise in the various areas of management, business administration and finance which are of particular relevance to the Gulf region”, as stated in the establishment agreement.

The link with distinguished French business schools and universities enables the school to draw on the experience and reputation of these institutions in developing solid, relevant and unique programs to serve the needs of the GCC states best. The MBA program is now cooperating with the ESSEC Business School, one of Europe’s leading business schools, to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a regional flavor, following an extensive marketing study in the Middle East, which included Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.

This program develops knowledge and skills in cellular and molecular biology, molecular diagnostics, and molecular mechanisms of disease.

Graduates can implement their acquired skills and knowledge in both research and practical clinical work and will contribute to an increased understanding of pathological processes, diagnostics, biomarker discovery, molecular mechanisms, and treatment of diseases.

This program has a strong focus on research providing a research-led teaching experience and is suitable for students with a background in biomedicine and molecular biology. The courses are designed to appeal to both clinical and basic biomedical scientists and provide comprehensive theoretical and practical training using state-of-the-art techniques in molecular and cellular biology as applied to medicine. 

This program focuses on diseases representing a health burden in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and addresses specific disorders (genetic, neoplastic, infectious, immunologic and nutritional) which are of current concern. The program seeks to foster interdisciplinary and interprofessional understanding and action. This two-year program leads to a Master of Science degree.

The Clinical Master in Family Medicine is an intensive two-year postgraduate training program delivered at primary healthcare centres and governmental hospitals across the Kingdom of Bahrain. It equips physicians with the competencies to practise as independent, reflective Family Medicine specialists, grounded in a competency-based curriculum recognised internationally by WONCA.

The program combines supervised clinical practice, workplace-based assessment, a mentorship framework, and a quality-improvement research project — preparing graduates for high-demand roles in both public and private healthcare sectors across the GCC.

The diploma in clinical research is offered at the Clinical Research Center at the Arabian Gulf University. The program aims at building capacity in clinical research in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region to help support the design, execution and management of clinical research projects and trials in GCC hospitals and medical research centers.

The diploma program is suitable for graduates in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, life sciences, ethics committee members, regulatory affairs members and other allied disciplines involved in clinical research projects and trials. The diploma provides skills for a career in the diverse and complex field of clinical research management. The one-year Academic Diploma in clinical research provides clinicians-investigators, research nurses, regulatory authorities, members of research ethics committees, and other clinical research professionals a strong foundation in the methods, ethical conduct, coordination, scientific standards, laws and regulations, as well as the operations and management of a clinical research study. It also focuses on the science of pharmaceutical and medical devices development, stem cells and biotechnology products, as well as medical technologies intended for human use.
